Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Tech (Radiology / Cardiology)

Job Details

• Start Date: ASAP
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
• Weekends Required: No
• Call Required: No
• Floating: As needed within scope
• EMR System: CERNER

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Texas
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, with experience within the last year
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

Required Licenses & Certifications

• Texas RRT Tech Certification (if applicable)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) - ARC, AHA, or US Department of Defense approved
• ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC as required (depending on specific role needs)

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Proof of I9 or Attestation
• Government issued photo ID (must be carried during hours of service)
• Proof of E-Verify or Attestation
• Background Check: 7-year criminal check within a year of start, updated annually
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start and updated for renewals
• State License Primary Source Verification
• NURSYS Verification (for RNs as applicable)
• Competency Exams and Medication/Pharmacology Competency as applicable
• Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement

Health & Immunization Requirements

• Initial physical exam, updated annually
• Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine (preferably within 10 years)
• Negative TB test or Chest X-Ray within required timeframes
• Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella: Titer or 2 vaccines
• Hepatitis B: Titer, vaccine series, or declination
• Varicella: Titer or 2 vaccines
• Drug Testing: 9 or 10 panel drug screen within required timeframe
• Seasonal Flu Vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption (mask required if declined)
• COVID Vaccines required or facility-specific medical/religious exemption forms

Additional Requirements

• Proof of 2 clinical references (hospital evaluations accepted)
• Completed employment application/resume
• Skills checklist updated annually (as applicable)
• Performance and internal evaluations if previously worked with the system

Notes

• Floating may be required within the scope of practice.
• No weekend or call requirements.
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
