Job Opportunity: Tele Float Registered Nurse

Location: Leominster, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Float pool position; must be willing to float to different units as needed.
• Flexibility required to adjust shift start time by up to 4 hours before or after the scheduled time based on unit needs.
• Schedule: 7 PM to 7 AM, every other weekend and holiday rotation.
• 36 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

• License: Massachusetts RN license in hand required.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of telemetry nursing experience.
• Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)

Additional Requirements

• Must pass medication and telemetry competency exams with a minimum score of 80% on the first day of orientation.
• Valid driver’s license or state ID required.
• Background checks including 7-year criminal history, education verification, and state-specific clearances required.
• Health documents required within specified timeframes, including:

  • Physical exam within 12 months prior to start.
  • Immunizations or declinations for TB, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, Flu, and COVID-19.
  • Drug testing within 30 days of start.
• Employment application covering 7 years of employment history with explanations for gaps over 30 days.
• Two professional references within the last three years.
• Skills checklist to be completed prior to start and updated annually.

Notes

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
• Must be willing to work night shifts and float across units.
• Compliance with all facility-specific and state-specific documentation and health requirements is mandatory.

This position is ideal for experienced telemetry RNs who are flexible with scheduling and unit assignments and meet Massachusetts licensing and certification requirements.
