Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology - CT Tech (Travel/Contract)

Job Details

Required Certifications & Licenses

• ARRT certification (CT preferred)
• ACLS (AHA required for ER, ICU, CCU, MST, and MS units)
• BLS (ARC, AHA, or US Department of Defense accepted)
• PALS, NRP, TNCC as required
• State License Primary Source Verification
• NURSYS verification for RNs
• Tech Certification Verification for allied professionals
• Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement (HIPAA compliance)

Background & Compliance Requirements

• 7-year criminal background check within 1 year of start, updated annually
• PA Statewide background check (PA Patch search specifically required)
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start and updated for renewals
• Pennsylvania FBI fingerprinting required within 12 months of start
• Pennsylvania Department of Aging fingerprint results required for all units (if resident of PA for past 2 years, may be exempt)
• Child Abuse Clearance (PA Childline Abuse Search) required within 12 months of start and updated annually

Health & Immunization Requirements

• Physical exam within 12 months, updated annually
• N95 Fit Test within 1 year of start (can be done upon arrival)
• Negative TB test (2-step PPD, Quantiferon Gold, or T-spot) within 1 year, updated annually
• Immunizations or titers for:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (titer, vaccine series, or declination)
  • Varicella
• Flu vaccination or declination (seasonal, October through March)
• 9-panel drug screen within last 12 months (instant acceptable)

Documentation & Competencies

• Proof of I9 or attestation
• Government issued photo ID carried during hours of service
• Proof of E-Verify or attestation
• Residency Declaration Form if working on a compact license
• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam as applicable
• Competency Exams as applicable
• Skills Checklist updated annually for applicable units
• References: Proof of 2 clinical references or hospital evaluations
• Performance evaluations if worked over 1 year; internal evaluations if over 2 years
• Complete employment application/resume
• Mandatory education acknowledgment prior to start

Additional Notes

• Must carry photo ID during work hours
• Facility-specific mandatory education and MMR declination forms must be completed prior to start
• Fingerprinting results typically take 24-48 business hours to finalize if no findings, with additional mailing time
• Travelers must coordinate fingerprinting and follow-up with PA Department of Human Services as instructed
