Overview
- Specialty: Registered Nurse

- Shift options: Day shift, 4x10 or 5x8
- Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Floating: Required per facility needs
- Weekend requirement: Per facility needs
- Call: Required, including weekday and rotating weekend call
- Response time for call: Under 30 minutes
- Holiday call: 24-hour call on holidays, rotating
- Local status: Travelers living within 50 miles are considered local
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New York
- Cardiac Cath Lab (2 years of experience)
- Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Relevant Skills / Clinical Experience
- Diagnostic cardiac cath lab
- Interventional cardiac cath lab
- Diagnostic catheterizations, adult
- Interventional catheterizations
- Left heart catheterization
- Right heart catheterization
- Pulmonary artery line / Swan Ganz monitoring
- Procedural sedation administration and monitoring
- Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
Important Notes
- RTO must be submitted before offer; post-offer RTO will not be approved
- Call-off policy: 3 shifts per 13-week assignment
- No hits on nursing license approved
- If the New York license is not yet active, submission is allowed if the application has already been filed
