Job Opportunity: CT Tech

Location: Clarksdale, Mississippi
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (3 or 4 shifts per week, 12 hours each)
Average Daily Census: 15 patients
Patient Population: Neonates through Geriatrics

Unit & Equipment Details

• Work setting includes Adult Acute Care and Adult Outpatient
• Imaging equipment includes GE, Philips, Siemens, Toshiba
• PACS system utilized
• Procedures involve Abdomen & Pelvis, Chest, Head & Neck, Spine & Musculoskeletal imaging, including contrast studies and musculoskeletal trauma

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Mississippi
• Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year
• One year or more of total travel experience as a CT Technologist
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
• Experience in Acute Care and Outpatient settings
• Experience with MEDHOST documentation system

Compliance & Background Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID and state-issued photo identification required
• Social Security Card required
• Proof of E-Verify or attestation required
• Background checks including:

  • 7-year criminal history check covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years
  • SS Trace, Counties, Nationwide, Sex Offender, FACIS Level 3
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start and updated with contract renewals
• Education verification upon client request

Health & Safety Requirements

• Physical exam within the last 12 months (not required annually)
• Fit mask test within 12 months, renewed annually (acceptable masks specified)
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year, updated annually (special provisions for past positives and recent COVID-19 vaccination)
• Immunizations or titers required for:

  • Measles (Rubeola)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B
  • Varicella
• 9-panel drug screen within 1 year of start (instant drug screen acceptable)
• Seasonal flu vaccination or declination documentation (collected upon client request)

Additional Requirements

• References:

  • 2 professional references within 2 years required for travel positions
• Signed job description and computer access request form required
• Competency exams and medication/pharmacology competency testing as applicable
• Orientation safety manual acknowledgement and HIPAA compliance required

Work Schedule & Time Off

• Shift pattern: 7 days on, 7 days off, working 7 consecutive night shifts
• No pre-approved requests for time off (RTO) during assignment

This position is ideal for experienced CT Technologists comfortable with night shifts and working in a fast-paced acute care environment with a diverse patient population.
