Job Overview

Location: Kalamazoo, Michigan
Employment type: Travel/Contract

Schedule: Day shift, 3x12 hours, 6:00 AM–6:30 PM
Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
Contract length: 13 weeks

Role Details

The unit primarily cares for patients before and after CVL procedures.
The department operates 24 hours a day.
Floating may be required as needed.
No call is required.
Weekend coverage is every other weekend.
Holiday coverage is required for 2 of 3 holidays.

Required Qualifications

Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Valid RN license in Michigan
Telemetry (1 year of experience)
Telemetry experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS
At least 1 year of nursing experience on a cardiac unit
Competent with venous sheath pulls

Additional Notes

First-time travelers are accepted.
Travelers must live at least 50 miles from the facility.
Cerner PowerChart is used for charting.
