Electrophysiology Tech - Travel/Contract
Location: Seattle, Washington
Shift: Day (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Work in Radiology / Cardiology specialty with focus on electrophysiology procedures.
- Unit accepts first-time travelers.
- Previous charge experience is required.
- No on-call required.
- Work settings include inpatient and outpatient; stress tests preferred.
- Responsibilities include obtaining vitals, recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, sinus node rhythms, and Holter monitoring.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of Electrophysiology Technician experience within the last year.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification issued by American Heart Association or Heart & Stroke Foundation.
- BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or Heart & Stroke Foundation.
- Experience in charge roles.
- Knowledge and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias.
- Knowledge of sinus node rhythms.
- Experience with Holter monitoring.
- Experience with stress tests.
Preferred Qualifications
- ARRT Radiography certification or ARRT Advanced Certification preferred.
- Experience with stress tests preferred.
Additional Requirements
- Must complete annual regulatory and specialty-specific training modules via assigned LMS.
- Competency exams and medication/pharmacology competency as applicable.
- Skills checklist updated annually.
- WA Multi-State Licensed Nurses Demographic Attestation required for out-of-state compact license holders.
- Float policy acknowledgment required; may be asked to float to other nearby facilities.
Work Environment & Other Details
- No call required.
- Travel contract opportunity for candidates previously employed at other Providence facilities (non-Swedish) separated for at least 3 months.
- Active compact license honored at Swedish facilities.
Summary
This is a travel Electrophysiology Tech position in Seattle, WA, requiring a minimum of 2 years of specialty experience, charge experience, and current WA licensure.
