Job Overview

Location: Lansing, Michigan
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Start date: ASAP
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day, 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
Hours per week: 36
On call: No
Weekend requirement: Yes; 3 weekends (Friday–Sunday) per 4-week schedule
Floating: Yes, with possible pediatric assignment
Local candidates: Accepted

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Michigan
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
2 years of ED - Emergency Department experience
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
PALS
TNCC
NIHSS
Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
Interpretation and Management of dysrhythmias
Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

ENPC
Experience with continuous IV sedation and procedural sedation administration
Triage experience

Additional Notes

First-time travelers are accepted
RTO must be submitted at time of submittal
No RTO allowed on 10/31 or 9/4–9/7
High-acuity emergency department setting with pediatric coverage possible
High patient ratios may occur
Modules are completed onsite at orientation
