Registered Nurse Travel/Contract Job - Greensboro, North Carolina

Job Details

Location: Greensboro, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Nights, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Schedule: Every other weekend (EOW), holidays as needed
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Unit: Medical-Surgical with Telemetry capability (patient population primarily Medical-Surgical)
Floating: Required to float across all facilities as needed

Job Description

Care for patients with observation status, respiratory conditions, general medical-surgical diagnoses, palliative/end-of-life/hospice care, psychiatric observation, diabetes (including new and complicated cases), surgical patients, and surgical observation
Use of EPIC electronic health record system
Previous Charge RN experience preferred but not required

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing experience
Medical-Surgical and Telemetry experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
