Job Opportunity: CT Tech

Location: Mount Airy, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (40 hours/week)
Schedule Details:

• No on-call required
• Rotational holiday coverage with existing staff
• Week 1 is day shift orientation for CT and X-ray

Job Description

• Perform CT scans and X-rays
• Experience with GE CT scanners preferred
• Start date may be adjustable

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in North Carolina
• Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• ARRT(R)(CT) certification
• Proof of 2 professional references
• Complete resume/application required
• Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
• Background checks including 7-year criminal history, EPLS/GSA/SAM, and HHS/OIG checks
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days prior to start
• Fit test with 3M 1860 mask within 12 months of start (can be done on-site Day 1 if necessary)
• Immunizations and titers:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap within 10 years
  • TB testing updated annually (2 PPDs or QGold; chest x-ray if positive)
  • Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella, Varicella: titer or 2 vaccines plus 1 booster if low titer
  • Hepatitis B: positive titer and series or facility-specific declination
• Flu vaccine required during flu season (10/1–3/31) with medical or religious exemptions accepted
• COVID vaccination information required if vaccinated (no documentation required if unvaccinated)
• Unit-specific skills checklist (renew annually)
• Unit-specific competency exam required
• Orientation safety manual acknowledgement and facility-specific documents/forms must be completed prior to start

Additional Information

• Radiation badges provided by facility (not issued by agency)
• No prior travel experience explicitly required
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, EFM, NIH Stroke Certification, and other certifications are not specified as required for this role

This position is ideal for a certified CT Technologist with ARRT(R)(CT) certification looking for a travel contract in North Carolina with a structured day shift schedule and no on-call duties.
