Employment Details

  • Rotation of start times between 5:30 AM - 6:00 AM or 7:00 AM

Patient Care

• Patient Types: ED, Outpatient, Inpatient
• Average Patients Seen Per Day:

  • 8-10 per day; 5 per day when performing PET CTs
• Types of Scans Performed:

  • DEXA scans, Cardiac scans, Stress Rest tests, HIDA scans, Renal scans, Bone scans, PET CT

Required Qualifications

• Licensure and Certifications:

  • BLS
  • NMTCB or ARRT (NM) required
  • ME State license
• Skills Required:

  • Experience with the specified scans

Unit Support

• Staffing:

  • Lead Tech
  • 2 techs per shift
  • Internal transport available
  • Radiologist on site

Technology and Equipment

• EMR: Cerner
• PACS: Enterprise Imaging AGFA
• Equipment Used:

  • Siemens dual head camera
  • GE IQ PET CT

Orientation and Additional Information

• Orientation: 2 weeks, dependent on skillset/comfort level
• Scrub Color: Any solid color as long as professional, or provided by facility if needed
• Parking: Free

Additional Requirements

• Various documentation and checks including:

  • Flu documentation
  • CPR Certification (BLS)
  • Criminal background check
  • Drug screen
  • Immunization records (MMR, Hep B, Varicella, TDAP)
  • Photo ID
  • Physical examination
