Job Opportunity: Technologist (PET CT)
Location
- Concord, New Hampshire

- Shift: 10-hour days

Job Description
- Perform PET/CT imaging procedures with a focus on patient comfort, safety, and satisfaction.
- Use communication skills to explain procedures and ease patient concerns.
- Interpret physician orders and select appropriate imaging parameters to produce high-quality diagnostic PET/CT images.
- Work in various settings including outpatient centers, mobile units, and hospital-based facilities.
- Ensure patient safety through pre-screening for contraindications, aseptic injection techniques, and adherence to radiation safety regulations.
- Document properly when handling radioactive materials and patients.
- Troubleshoot imaging equipment including scanners, mobile coaches, monitors, PACS, and coils.
- Train new technologists and/or support staff as needed.
Equipment Used
- GE Discovery PET/CT Unit
Required Qualifications
- 1 to 2 years of PET/CT imaging experience (minimum)
- Valid Radiologic/CT Technologist license in New Hampshire
- Nuclear Medicine Certification (ARRT NM or NMTCB)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred

- Candidates must be aware of travel requirements between locations.
- Time off requests during the assignment should be communicated in advance.
