Read below for more requirements.As a Vascular Technologist, you will use ultrasound and other non-invasive diagnostic tools to evaluate blood flow, detect vascular abnormalities, and assist in diagnosing conditions related to the circulatory system. You will play a key role in supporting physicians by providing accurate vascular imaging in a variety of clinical settings.As a Vascular Tech, you should be prepared to perform the following tasks:<ul> <li>Conduct vascular ultrasound exams including carotid, arterial, venous, and abdominal studies</li> <li>Use Doppler technology and ultrasound equipment to assess blood flow and identify vascular conditions</li> <li>Explain procedures to patients and ensure comfort during exams</li> <li>Identify and document normal and abnormal imaging findings for physician interpretation</li> <li>Ensure proper patient positioning and use of equipment for optimal image quality</li> <li>Maintain accurate patient records and documentation</li> <li>Calibrate and maintain ultrasound machines and related equipment</li> <li>Adhere to infection control and patient safety standards</li> <li>Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other care team members</li> <li>Support a clean and organized working environment</li></ul>The ideal candidate must have at least one year of experience as a Vascular Technologist.
