Overview
- Temp role in Lakewood Ranch, Florida
- 10-hour day shift
- 40 hours per week
- Contract length: 38 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Florida
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
- OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
- ACLS
- PALS
- BLS
- Experience with robotic surgery
- Orthopedics experience
- Urology experience
Preferred Qualifications
- CNOR
- Experience in all other specialties except eyes, hearts, thoracic, and vascular
Schedule / Call
- 4–10-hour shifts, 0630–1700
- Call required: 4–5 per month, including at least one weekend day
- Weekday call runs 1700–0630
- 30-minute callback time
- Day off the day following call if able; otherwise days off depend on need
Role Details
- Responsible for scrubbing and/or circulating duties for operative procedures
- Handles department admissions to the operative suite
- Prepares the operating room for the patient and surgical procedure
- Assembles equipment and supplies, and ensures equipment is functional and implants are available
