Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (Med/Surg) - Hawaii (Contract)

Schedule

36 hours per week after orientation
Day or Night shift availability (to be determined)
Must be flexible to work various shift lengths and days
No guarantee of hours or shift preference

Job Description

Provide med/surg level care for patients 18 and over
May float to surgical pediatrics or transitional care units
Use equipment such as Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound vac, chest tubes, etc.

Required Experience

Minimum 2+ years in med/surg or higher level of care

Licensure & Certifications

Must have an active Hawaii RN license by start of assignment
BLS required
ACLS preferred

Orientation & Training

Department-specific training included in the first week of orientation
Must arrive the Thursday before start date for employee health appointment

Additional Information

Nurse to patient ratio: 1:5
Unit size: 50 beds (Medical)
Dress code: Professional nursing attire, closed toe shoes, no specific scrub colors
