Med/Surg / Skilled Nursing Department Nurse (Night Shift) – California

Job Details

Location: King City, California
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Hours per Week: 36 hours
Float Requirement: Must be able to float to Skilled Nursing Department
Patient Population: Care for non-critical pediatric patients

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
Minimum 1 year of Med Surg nursing experience within the last year
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Experience with Cerner electronic health record system

Additional Information

Overtime applies for hours worked over 40 per week
Hospital may cancel up to 3 shifts during the 13-week contract based on census changes
Housing can be challenging to find in the area; short-term options are available nearby
Candidates must submit credentialing documents in one batch once complete
Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position
