Contract Length

13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Kansas
• Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ARRT (CV) or RCIS
• Driver's License
• Ability to handle STEMI cases independently with minimum 2 years of experience

Schedule

• 4x10 days
• 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM Tuesday through Thursday
• If cases occur on Monday/Friday, shift starts at 7:00 AM

Call

• 2 weekends a month, possibly 3 if a staff member has PTO
• 15 days
• Call response time: 30 minutes
• Holiday call is negotiable

Unit Details

• Cardiovascular Tech unit
• 1 suite
• Average of 1-3 cases per day
• Common cases: LHC, RHC, PCI, Peripheral, PM, ICD

Float Scope

• Might assist in stress lab

Orientation

• Cath lab new hire orientation with Lead
• Clinicians must be in state for the week of orientation, even if first-day modules are remote

Other Information

• Agency must provide traveler Rad Badge
• Scrubs provided
