25 beds
Ratios: 5-6:1
Med/surg tele unit
Float scope includes all med/surg units and possibly PCU for Tele holds prior to transfer

Required Qualifications

BLS
ACLS
18+ months of recent Med/Tele experience
Able to read strips
Heparin drip titration

Preferred Qualifications

Rural hospital experience

Schedule

12-hour day shifts
36 hours/week or 36/48 hours biweekly
Every other weekend required
Holidays required
Block scheduling cannot be accommodated

Additional Details

Call/standby not required
PCTs are present
CPAP, BiPAP, and high flow patients are on the unit
Navy blue scrubs
Department orientation includes 2 shadow/orientation shifts
Charting system: Paragon; transitioning to EPIC on Oct 30, 2026
