Registered Nurse (ER Float to Med/Surg) - Travel Assignment

Job Details

• Specialty: ER float to Med/Surg
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Nights
• Hours: 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week
• Patient Ratio: 4:1 in ER
• ER Volume: 8-12 patients per day
• Unit Type: General ER, Level 4
• Float Requirement: Must float 50% ER and 50% Med/Surg
• Schedule: 6 days on, 8 days off; every 3rd weekend 1900-0700

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Iowa
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
• Med/Surg nursing experience
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC

• This is a travel nursing opportunity requiring flexibility to float between ER and Med/Surg units equally.
