MRI Technologist - Texas (Bryan)

• Location: Bryan, Texas (with floating between Bryan and College Station campuses, ~16 minutes apart)
• Contract Length: 12 weeks
• Shift: Days
• Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

• Average of 18 scans per day
• Equipment used: Siemens Avanto 1.5 (experience with this unit preferred)
• No requirement to perform other imaging modalities
• Call rotation: one week at a time

  • Monday to Friday: 5:00 PM – 6:30 AM
  • Saturday to Sunday: 6:30 AM – 6:30 AM
  • 1-hour response time (30 minutes travel + 30 minutes to prepare patient)
• May be asked to precept new staff as needed
• On non-call days with low census, occasional flexing to other duties may be required (infrequent)
• Call outs are strongly discouraged and may lead to termination

Required Qualifications

• MRI Technologist with at least 2 years of experience, including experience within the last year
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Certified Mammography Technologist - ARRT (M)
• State license required for Texas MRI Technologist
• Candidates must not have been employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any facility associated with the previous employer group within the past year; PRN employment through outside firms is acceptable

Additional Notes

• First to float between campuses as needed
• Call rotation schedule requires flexibility and timely response
