Physical Therapist Job

Location

• Caldwell, Texas

Schedule

• Days
• 8 hours per day
• 40 hours per week
• Monday–Friday
• No weekends
• No call

Assignment Length

• 12 weeks

Setting

• Inpatient/Outpatient physical therapy
• Mix of approximately 80% inpatient and 20% outpatient, depending on census or preference

Required Qualifications

• BLS certification
• Texas physical therapist license
• National physical therapist license

Preferred Experience

• Wound care experience

Key Responsibilities

• Treat about 7 patients per day
• May be asked to precept as needed

Patient Population

• General skilled nursing, wounds, orthopedics, neurology, debility
• Acute inpatient, acute rehab, skilled, and outpatient cases
• Fractures, orthopedic injuries, some neuro cases, and a few amputations

Additional Notes

• Holiday coverage may be required on a rotating basis
• Call-outs are strongly discouraged and may lead to termination
• Department orientation is brief
• Scrubs are maroon and not provided
• Candidates must not have been directly employed by any affiliated facility within the past year
• A copy of a driver’s license is required at submission to verify legal name
