Outpatient Dialysis RN
Location
- Fargo, North Dakota
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Schedule
- Day shift
- 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week
- Every other Saturday required
Required Qualifications
- Active North Dakota or Compact RN license
- BLS certification from AHA
- Minimum 2.5 years of recent dialysis nursing experience
- Experience in an outpatient dialysis clinic
Preferred Qualifications
- CNN or CDN certification
Job Responsibilities
- Provide pre-, intra-, and post-dialysis patient assessments
- Perform dialysis treatments
- Complete interdisciplinary assessments and care plans
Unit Details
- 32-station dialysis unit
- Typical patient load is 4 patients, with support from a float nurse or charge nurse
Equipment
- B Braun dialysis machines
Orientation
- Department orientation includes the unit, water system, dialysis equipment, policy practices, and medication administration
Additional Notes
- Travelers within 60 miles of the facility are not accepted
- Travelers living 60 to 80 miles away may be considered at a reduced local rate
- Manager will contact candidates directly for interview scheduling before offering
- Floating is generally not required, but may be available if desired
