Mammography Technologist - Travel Assignment

Location: Roseville, California
Contract Length: 26 weeks (approximately 6 months)
Shift: Day shift, Monday to Friday
Hours: 8 hours per day (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)

Job Description

Seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist for a travel assignment in a clinic setting. The role involves performing mammography imaging with a focus on patient care, equipment operation, and radiation safety.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiologic/Mammography Technologist
Active California Medical Radiographer license (MRAD:CA)
Certified Mammography Technologist – ARRT (M)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA CPR)
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Completion of a formal AMA school of Radiologic Technology or equivalent program
Completion of 40 hours of structured education in Mammography
Knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to imaging
Proficiency in operation and care of radiology diagnostic equipment and radiation safety
Familiarity with medical terminology, electronic practice management systems, and PACS
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications

Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT (RTR)
Six months experience in an outpatient environment

Additional Information

Work schedule: 8-hour days, Monday through Friday
Clinic environment with emphasis on patient interaction and technical proficiency
