Mammography Technologist - Travel Assignment
Location: Roseville, California
Contract Length: 26 weeks (approximately 6 months)
Shift: Day shift, Monday to Friday
Hours: 8 hours per day (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
Job Description
Seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist for a travel assignment in a clinic setting. The role involves performing mammography imaging with a focus on patient care, equipment operation, and radiation safety.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiologic/Mammography Technologist
- Active California Medical Radiographer license (MRAD:CA)
- Certified Mammography Technologist – ARRT (M)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA CPR)
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Completion of a formal AMA school of Radiologic Technology or equivalent program
- Completion of 40 hours of structured education in Mammography
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to imaging
- Proficiency in operation and care of radiology diagnostic equipment and radiation safety
- Familiarity with medical terminology, electronic practice management systems, and PACS
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT (RTR)
- Six months experience in an outpatient environment
Additional Information
- Work schedule: 8-hour days, Monday through Friday
- Clinic environment with emphasis on patient interaction and technical proficiency
