Required Certifications

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) acceptable

Experience Requirements

• Adult critical care experience with confidence in this area
• No explicit mention of prior travel experience required

Patient Population & Work Areas

• Primarily adults, some pediatric and infants in ER setting
• Work areas include ER, ICU, CVICU, and wards
• No outpatient services

Job Duties

• Perform ABGs (arterial blood gases)
• Perform EKGs
• Ventilator management (Avea, LTV, Zoll vents)
• BiPAP, CPAP, general respiratory therapy work
• Assist with intubation (not independently)

Orientation

• 1 day Neonatal Orientation
• 3 days department-specific orientation

Additional Information

• Dress code: Black scrubs, no logos
• Hospitalist or Intensivist available in-house
