Job Details

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Patient Load: 6 to 9 patients per day
• Patient Population: Sensory processing disorder, autism, fine motor delay, developmental delay
• Setting: Outpatient pediatrics only
• Experience Required: Pediatric experience required
• Certifications: BLS required
• EMR System: Epic
• Rehab Aides/COTAs: Not staffed
• Shifts: 8-hour shifts starting at 8 AM
• Scheduling: Patient access team manages schedules based on therapist’s plan of care
• Weekend/Holiday Requirements: None
• Dress Code: Business casual or scrubs (black, gray, khaki)
• Orientation: 1-2 weeks with preceptor, includes one day of Epic training and shadowing

Additional Notes

• Must have an active Illinois license or confirmation that application process has started
• Drug-free campus; negative drug screen required for all panels
• Local placements accepted within a 50-mile radius
• Orientation hours (12 hours) are non-billable and guaranteed hours do not apply during orientation
• Call off policy: Equivalent of 12 hours every 13 weeks with no penalty or payback required
