Job Details

• Location: Lakewood, Colorado
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Setting: Inpatient
• Patient Population: Adults
• Shift & Scheduling:

  • Should never be the only RT in-house
  • Potential for every other weekend or more if willing
  • Holiday coverage as needed
  • No call or standby call required
• Dress Code: Black pants and wine top

Job Responsibilities

• Provide all respiratory modalities throughout the hospital, including:

  • Medication delivery
  • Emergency response
  • Assist with intubation (not independently)
  • Ventilator management (invasive and non-invasive)
  • Arterial blood gases (ABGs)
  • Pulmonary hygiene
  • Hyperinflation therapy
  • Transport of critically ill patients with artificial airway
  • Home oxygen assessment and coordination

Required Certifications & Licenses

• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) via NBRC
• ACLS (AHA)
• BLS (AHA)
• PALS (AHA)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• Colorado state respiratory license

Experience Requirements

• Must be proficient in all respiratory therapy modalities listed above
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
