Job Opportunity: CT Technologist

Location: Williston, North Dakota
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Seeking a CT Technologist to work in a fast-paced department with a strong team environment. The role involves performing CT imaging for adults and pediatrics, including cases such as strokes, STEMI, trauma, abdominal pain, head injury, kidney stones, and CTA. The position requires coverage of x-ray after hours on a variable schedule.

Work Schedule

• Shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (team scheduling)
• Weekend Requirements: Variable depending on schedule
• Holiday Requirements: Every other holiday
• Orientation: 3 shifts of 12 hours each

Department & Equipment

• 1 CT room with Philips 128 slice primary scanner and Philips 16 slice backup
• Bracco injectors used
• No in-house radiologist
• No Registered Radiology Assistants (RRAs)
• Uses PACS and Centralized Response Team Inquire System (CRTIS)

Job Duties

• Perform CT imaging on adult and pediatric patients
• Cover x-ray after hours from 11:30 PM to 7:00 AM unless high CT volume
• Handle a high volume of outpatient CTs scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Required Qualifications

• Certified Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) with CT certification or ARRT (R) with CME requirements met for CT
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA)
• Radiation badge required
