Telemetry Technician - Colorado Springs, CO
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Overview
- Monitor patients centrally using telemetry and continuous oxygen monitoring equipment.
- Responsible for monitoring up to 48 modalities, typically managing 24 patients.
- Utilize GE monitoring equipment.
- Work shifts:
- Day shift: 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
- Night shift: 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
- Weekend requirement: Every 3rd weekend.
- No holiday requirement, but holiday shifts may be available if desired.
- No call or standby duties.
- Floating to a similar telemetry unit may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Current BLS (AHA) certification.
- National Telemetry Technician certification via NTA.
- Experience as a telemetry technician with knowledge of tele stations.
- Proficient in EKG interpretation and manual measurement of rhythm strips.
- Must be located in-state for the week of orientation (orientation includes one shift on telemetry unit).
Additional Information
- Dress code: Burgundy/wine or solid color top and bottom.
- Orientation includes a unit-specific shift from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. with weekend requirements.
- Must submit a valid driver’s license.
- Work radius: within 60 miles of the facility.
