- Unit: Pharmacy
- Main Building, 4th floor
- 36 hours per week
- 24-week contract
Required Qualifications
- Valid Pharmacist license in Virginia
- Pharmacist with 2 years of experience
- Pharmacist experience within the last year
- Experience working with Cardiac Surgery, Level 1 Trauma, or Pediatric patients
- Experience in a hospital setting
- Vancomycin AUC dosing experience
- Aminoglycoside dosing experience
- Renal dosing experience
- Warfarin experience
- Enoxaparin experience
- Electrolyte protocols experience
- Heparin experience
- DOAC experience
Preferred / Helpful Experience
- Experience with complex patients, including Trauma/Burn/Critical care, peds, cardiac surgery, and ECMO
- Dose Edge IV experience
- Pyxis experience
- Meditech
- Vigilanz
- Advanced skills in:
- Vancomycin AUC dosing
- Aminoglycoside dosing
- Renal dosing
- warfarin
- enoxaparin
- electrolyte protocols
- heparin
- DOAC
Unit / Work Setting
- 463 beds
- Floating policy: none
- Scheduling includes nights (2030-0700) and evenings (1430-0100)
Responsibilities
- IV verification
- Medication verification
- IV compounding as needed

- Openings are due to family relocation
- Resources available include Sanford Guide, Clinical Key, Uptodate, Vanc AUC calculator, Neofax, Briggs, and Lexicomp
