Job Overview

Location: Madison, Wisconsin
Employment type: Travel
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour shifts, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
Hours per week: 36
Weekend/holiday expectations: Every other weekend and holiday rotations
Call: Required
Local candidates: Not accepted

Required Qualifications

Valid LPN / LVN license in Wisconsin
Skilled Nursing experience with 2 years of experience
Skilled Nursing experience within the last year
BLS
Experience in an inpatient setting
Med Surg experience
Experience with Epic

Unit Details

Adult inpatient rehabilitation population with high-acuity needs
Patient ratio: 1:7
May need to float to a satellite inpatient rehab facility within about 20 minutes in the near future

Additional Notes

The unit functions similarly to a medical-surgical setting at times
Nurses are expected to assist CNAs and respond to call lights for patient safety
