Operating room setting
36 hours per week
13-week contract

Required Qualifications

Valid Surgical First Assistant license in Virginia
Surgical First Assistant (2 years of experience)
Surgical First Assistant experience within the last year
BLS
OR First Assist Certification
Orthopedic Technologist experience

Experience Needed

Robotic experience
Ortho experience
Neuro/spine experience

Schedule

Day shift with evening taper
Night coverage is call only
Call rotation averages 2 call shifts per week, including weekday nights and weekend primary/backup

Unit Details

16 operating rooms
1:1 patient ratio
Procedures include all except transplant and cardiac surgery

Additional Notes

Team player preferred
Hospital-provided scrubs
No floating areas
