Job Opportunity: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel Assignment
Location

- Duration: 13 weeks
Work Schedule
- Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts, no block scheduling
- Approximately 36 hours per week
Job Description
- Provide cardiopulmonary services to inpatients and outpatients following approved protocols and department policies.
- Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures.
- Deliver medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas.
- Maintain airways and manage ventilators.
- Perform insertion of arterial lines and intubations.
- Conduct pulmonary function studies, cardiac and pulmonary stress tests, and blood gas analysis.
- Independently manage care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
- Pediatric respiratory experience is also acceptable.
- Charting system used: Medhost.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Florida
- Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
- Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP
Additional Notes
- Prior review of housing options and costs is expected before submission.
- This is a night shift travel position with a focus on respiratory therapy in a hospital setting.
