• Shift: Night (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours (3 shifts of 12 hours)
• Weekend Hours: Night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Call Requirements: None
• Float Requirements: None
• Number of Beds: 31
• Patient Ratios: Average 1:5
• Equipment Used: SCDs, Baxter IV Pumps, GE VC150s
• Electronic Health Record (EHR): Epic
• Patient Population: Adult and Geriatric

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical/Surgical or Telemetry nursing, with experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Common Diagnoses/Treatments

• Pneumonia
• Rule out Chest Pain
• Congestive Heart Failure (CHF)
• Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)
• Post-operative care for Hip, Shoulder, TURP (Transurethral Resection of the Prostate)
• General Surgery

Additional Information

• Orientation is held weekly on Mondays
• Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as Travel
• All candidates must complete clear and complete screenings prior to start, including:

  • Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance
  • Department of Human Services Fingerprinting
  • FBI Department of Aging Fingerprinting (must be within last two years or completed prior to start)
  • PA State Police Clearance (PATCH)
• Dress Code: Scrubs in grey, black, or blue; other attire is not acceptable
