MRI Tech - Radiology

Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join a busy imaging unit. The position involves performing MRI procedures including contrast and non-contrast studies. The unit uses GE equipment and Cerner EMR.

Work Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM – 10:30 PM
Saturday to Sunday: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Rotating weekends required

Unit Information

Staff: Approximately 9 staff members per shift
Equipment: GE MRI machines
EMR System: Cerner
Dress Code: Black scrubs

Required Qualifications

Valid MRI Technologist license in North Carolina
Minimum 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist, including experience within the last year
ARRT (MR) Certification
BLS Certification
MRI registration required

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Breast MRI

Additional Notes

Candidates without MRI registration and required certifications will not be considered.
Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
