Schedule

12-hour variable shifts
Shift times: 6:00 AM–6:30 PM or 6:00 PM–6:30 AM
Every other weekend and holiday rotation
Float to all inpatient units as needed

Required Qualifications

Wisconsin RN license
AHA or ARC BLS
1 year of medical-surgical rehab experience, or nurses with medical-surgical background
Experience in an inpatient hospital setting
Rehab knowledge

Unit Details

Inpatient rehab unit
12 beds
Typical patient ratio: 1:4–1:6 on days, 1:8 on nights
Primary cases include stroke, trauma, debility, amputation, and cardiac

Additional Notes

Epic is preferred for charting
Low-census adjustments may reduce worked hours in 4-hour increments
Flu season policy requires masking at all times for travelers who decline flu and COVID vaccination
