Physical Therapist

Role Overview

• Travel Physical Therapist assignment based at Aspirus at Home – Antigo.
• Primary population served: adult and geriatric patients.
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.
• Weekend coverage: rotates one Saturday every 6–8 weeks; no holidays.
• Float scope: occasional travel to other branches as needed.
• Guaranteed hours: 37 per week, with flex up to 40.
• Contract length: 13 weeks.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Wisconsin.
• BLS issued by American Heart Association.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience working with Adult patients.
• Experience working with Geriatric patients.
• Experience in a Home Health setting.
• Experience with orthopedic, neurological, and functional mobility diagnoses.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Physical Therapy.

Clinical / Work Setting Details

• Evaluates, treats, and plans patient care in accordance with Physical Therapy standards of practice.
• Uses NetSmart EMR.
• Laptop and cell phone are used for documentation, GPS, and communication.
• Average productivity expectation: 4.5 visits per day.
• Mileage is reimbursed at the government-approved rate.
• Eligible for 36 hours of unbillable low census hours.
• Travelers may be placed on call for low census hours; call-back pay applies if called back.
• During flu season, anyone declining flu and COVID vaccination must wear a mask at all times.
