Registered Nurse — Medical-Surgical

Location

Green Bay, Wisconsin

Job Type

Travel assignment

Contract Length

13 weeks

Schedule

8-hour PM/NOC shifts; must be flexible
Every other weekend and holiday rotation
40–48 guaranteed hours per week

Unit / Setting

Float team role covering observation, cardiac, medical, surgical, ortho/neuro, inpatient rehab, and transitional care units
Facility will try to keep the traveler in 1–2 similar units when possible

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Wisconsin
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
1 year of Med Surg experience
Med Surg experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS
Experience with venipuncture
Cardizem experience
Experience with ports
Experience with Foley/straight cath

Preferred

Previous travel experience
Epic charting experience within the past 2 years

Additional Notes

Must be flexible with variable PM/NOC scheduling
Candidate must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
NIHSS certification must be completed before the end of orientation
