Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Location: Cary, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel Contract

Contract Details

• Length: 6 weeks
• Start Date: ASAP
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts
• Weekend/Holiday Requirements: 4 weekend shifts (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) within the 6-week contract
• Float Requirements: Must be flexible to float to similar units if needed
• On Call/Call Back: Not applicable

Experience & Certifications

• Specialty: Labor and Delivery
• Required Experience: Minimum 3+ years in Labor and Delivery nursing
• Prior Travel Experience: Highly preferred (not strictly required)
• Charting System: Epic experience strongly preferred
• Required Certifications:

  • NC or Compact RN License
  • AHA BLS
  • AHA ACLS
  • AHA PALS
  • NRP
  • FHM-AWHONN

Additional Information

• Must be a hard worker, resilient, able to manage change well, and socially engaging
• Scrub colors allowed: Red, Black, Gray (solid colors only; no designs unless working in Pediatric areas)
• T-shirts worn under scrubs must be solid red, black, gray, or white (no hoodies or fleece jackets; scrub jackets allowed)
• COVID-19 vaccination and booster required unless medically or religiously exempt
• Flu vaccination required
