Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse

Overview

Travel assignment in Waukesha, Wisconsin
13-week contract
Night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
12-hour shifts
Guaranteed 36 hours per week

Unit

4NW Ortho Neuro
Bed ratio: 1:6, increasing to 1:7 after 11:00 PM

Shift Requirements

12-hour nights
Holiday rotation
Every other weekend

Float Scope

May float to Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital, Mukwonago, and other like units as needed
May be required to float to units and facilities based on census
Should not be asked to work outside clinical skills unless approved by the employee, unit manager, shift advisor, and Staffency

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Wisconsin
Med Surg (2 years of experience)
Med Surg experience within the last year
BLS
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience in an Acute Care setting
Indwelling drain removal experience
PICC line care and dressing changes experience
Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

At least 1 completed travel contract

Additional Notes

COVID-19 vaccine required unless a medical or religious exemption applies
