Registered Nurse – Electrophysiology

Location: La Crosse, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (8-hour day shift)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week (except during orientation week and holidays when the unit is closed)

Job Overview

• Work in an Electrophysiology clinic setting with a variable caseload (typically 15 to 40 patients per day).
• Responsibilities include managing in-baskets, making phone calls, patient teaching, and assisting with rooming patients if Medical Assistants are short.
• No float, on-call, weekend, or holiday requirements.
• Charting experience with Epic preferred.
• Dress code: Navy bottoms with white or black top.

Required Qualifications

• Wisconsin RN license (or compact RN license valid in Wisconsin).
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Electrophysiology specialty.

Additional Information

• Candidate must start the medical portion of compliance within 48 hours of accepted offer (24 hours for quick start).
• Orientation includes 8 hours of unbillable time.
• Guaranteed set hours per week except during holidays when the unit is closed.
