Medical Lab Technician - Technician II
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Employment Type: Long Term Contract (13 weeks)
Shift: PM (3:00 PM – 1:30 AM)
Expected Hours: 40 hours per week
Job Description
- Blood Bank position working with adult and neonate patients
- Experience required with blood bank computer system (SoftBank) and analyzer (Grifols Erytra)
- Use of Erytra Gel and Tube testing methods
- Work environment: 500-bed hospital
Required Qualifications
- Medical Lab Technician with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
- Certification: ASCP or AMT
- Experience with Cerner PowerChart Millennium system
Additional Information
- No license requirement specified
- Optional but helpful: parking available for $74/month
- Contract is temporary with no credentialing issues reported
