Medical Lab Technician - Technician II

Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Employment Type: Long Term Contract (13 weeks)
Shift: PM (3:00 PM – 1:30 AM)
Expected Hours: 40 hours per week


Job Description

  • Blood Bank position working with adult and neonate patients
  • Experience required with blood bank computer system (SoftBank) and analyzer (Grifols Erytra)
  • Use of Erytra Gel and Tube testing methods
  • Work environment: 500-bed hospital

Required Qualifications

  • Medical Lab Technician with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
  • Certification: ASCP or AMT
  • Experience with Cerner PowerChart Millennium system

Additional Information

  • No license requirement specified
  • Optional but helpful: parking available for $74/month
  • Contract is temporary with no credentialing issues reported
  • Start date: ASAP
