Required Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) license for PCU specialty
Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty
Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - AHA
- CERT-NIH Stroke Scale
Float, holiday, and weekend availability required
Experience with titrating vasoactive drips and managing critical care drips

Preferred Qualifications

Compact RN License in hand
Previous travel experience preferred (not explicitly required)
Experience with EPIC EMR system

Mixed 24-bed, fast-paced, high acuity Intermediate Care/Critical Care unit
Advanced heart failure therapies provided
Patient ratios range from 2:1 to 4:1

Transplant rejection/complications
Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH) - medication adjustments/complications
Hypoxic respiratory failure
Gastrointestinal bleeding (GIB)
Renal failure
Sepsis

Common Drips Managed

Vasoactive drips: Milrinone, Dobutamine, Dopamine, Norepinephrine, Vasopressin, Lidocaine, Nicardipine, Cardizem, Nitroglycerin
Other drips: Heparin, Angiomax, Glucommander, Protonix, Octreotide, IVIG, Antivirals, IV antibiotics
