Job Description
- Provide professional nursing care to a designated group of patients using the nursing process.
- Perform initial patient assessments upon admission and develop individualized plans of care.
- Implement and modify nursing interventions and patient care procedures based on ongoing evaluation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of nursing care.
- Ensure patient and employee safety by identifying and addressing hazards and incidents.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Engage in professional development and fulfill departmental competency requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Illinois
- Minimum 3 years of neurology nursing experience, including experience within the last year
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing
