Clinical Lab Technologist

Location

• Rochester, Minnesota

Contract

• 1 year

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts
• Standard hours: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
• May need to start as early as 7:00 AM during training
• Must be available for off-shifts, holidays, on-call, weekends, and schedule adjustments

Required Qualifications

• Medical Technologist experience within the last year
• Medical Technologist with 1 year of experience
• Medical Lab Technician experience
• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a biological science

Preferred Experience

• Experience operating and troubleshooting laboratory instrumentation and assay systems

Job Responsibilities

• Perform analyses on blood, tissue, and body fluids to support diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment
• Operate and maintain instruments, troubleshoot assays, and evaluate test accuracy
• Assist with interpreting results and other operational support tasks
• Work with multiple computer systems to retrieve information and report results
• May assist with specimen collection
• Follow strict safety protocols when working with infectious specimens, chemicals, and other hazards
