Clinical Lab Technologist
Location
Rochester, Minnesota
Assignment Length
52 weeks
Schedule
- Overnight shift, Wednesday through Sunday
- 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM
- Training lasts 4–6 weeks with variable daytime or evening hours
Required Qualifications
- Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) experience
- Cath Lab Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
- 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Radiology Technologist
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a biological science
Job Responsibilities
- Perform analyses on blood, tissue, and body fluids to support diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment
- Operate and maintain laboratory instruments
- Troubleshoot assays and evaluate test accuracy
- Assist with interpreting results
- Support laboratory operations to maintain and optimize testing capabilities
- Use multiple computer systems to retrieve information and report results
- May assist with specimen collection
- Follow strict safety protocols when working with infectious specimens, chemicals, and other hazards
Preferred Experience
- Experience operating and troubleshooting laboratory instrumentation and assay systems
