Job Summary

• Provide leadership in coordinating and delivering compassionate, quality patient care.
• Utilize the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and patient/family teaching.
• Communicate pertinent patient and family information effectively to the healthcare team.
• Participate in identifying and implementing solutions for variances from patient goals.

• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to formulate effective nursing care plans within the assigned unit/department.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.

Education Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing (Required).
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Certification & Licensure

• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing (Required).
• BLS certification (Required).
