Contract Length: 13 weeks

Perform all nursing responsibilities specific to the digestive health unit.
Implement procedures and theories related to digestive health nursing practice.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of nursing care.
Complete initial patient assessments upon admission and develop appropriate plans of care based on patient and family needs.
Implement and modify plans of care through continuous evaluation.
Ensure patient and employee safety by identifying and addressing safety hazards and incidents.
Communicate effectively with healthcare team members to resolve issues and provide constructive feedback.
Support professional development of peers and pursue own learning needs.
Prepare patients for procedures, including assessment, health history review, IV insertion, and patient education.
Monitor and sedate patients during procedures.
Provide care for patients in both phase 1 and phase 2 recovery.
Assist CRNA during anesthesia-involved cases.
Define, direct, supervise, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
