Labor & Delivery and Nursery RN

Overview

  • Contract role in Kealakekua, Hawaii
  • 12-hour nights
  • 13-week contract
  • Rural community hospital setting
  • 72–80 working hours every two weeks
  • 45–50 deliveries per month

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Hawaii
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Labor and Delivery (4 years of experience)
  • Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
  • BLS
  • AWHONN
  • C-EFM
  • STABLE
  • NRP
  • Experience with couplet care
  • Intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring

Float / Assignment Notes

  • May float to assist other departments, but not as a primary nurse

Additional Notes

  • Charge nurse duties include an additional $2.00/hr compensation
