Overview

Contract assignment in Hilo, Hawaii
15-week contract
Day shift: 0630-1900
Three 12-hour shifts weekly, 36 hours
No guarantee of hours

Required Qualifications

Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Hawaii
Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience)
Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
BLS
ACLS
PALS
Experience working with Adult patients
Experience working with Pediatric patients
Experience working with Neonate patients

Preferred

NRP
Current Hawaii license preferred, but candidates with a Hawaii license application already submitted may be considered

Job Responsibilities

Continuous airway management
Ventilator and non-invasive ventilator management and support
Physician consulting
CPR
All aspects of respiratory care

Equipment / Unit Details

Computerized charting
Pyxis medication management
PB 980
PB 840 ventilators
V60
Para Pac transport ventilator

Start / Compliance Notes

Proof of flu vaccination or facility-approved medical/religious exception required before contract start
Flu vaccination can be administered during employee health clearance
Must arrive the Thursday before start for employee health appointment on Friday
