Respiratory Therapist Tech - Nights

Location: Hilo, Hawaii
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 15 weeks

Job Description

Provide continuous airway management including ventilator and non-invasive ventilator support.
Perform physician consulting, CPR, and all aspects of respiratory care.
Care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients.
Utilize equipment such as computerized charting systems, Pyxis medication management, PB 980, PB 840 ventilators, V60, and Para Pac Transport Ventilator.
Night shift schedule: 1830 to 0700, three 12-hour shifts weekly (36 hours).
No guarantee of hours.
Must attend employee health appointment prior to contract start.

Required Qualifications

Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Hawaii.
Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapist experience, including experience within the last year.
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS.

Additional Information

Must arrive the Thursday before the start date for employee health clearance appointment on Friday.
Prior travel experience is required.
